Update on KBEP License Number Changes
The word is getting out: ALL psychologists are being issued new license numbers. http://psy.ky.gov. A letter from the Board will be coming soon, but if you are ready to deal with this now, follow these steps:
1. Go to http://psy.ky.gov
2. Click on Agencies, then Office of Occupations and Professions, then License Verification
3. Plug in your information and you will get your new license number.
But your responsibility does not stop there! It is up to each individual licensee to contact providers and notify of the license number change. Please be sure and advise any and all providers (i.e., Medicare/Medicaid, insurance companies, CAQH, credentialing agencies, etc) that your license number has changed.
More information can be found at http://psy.ky.gov.
