Everything You Need to Know to Vote on November 8th
With the election cycle in full swing, NOW is the time for psychologists to get active in the political arena! We will be electing the U.S. President on November 8th as well as one US Senator and four of six of our Congressional Representatives.
In the Kentucky General Assembly 72 of 138 members will be on the ballot (66 in the KY House, and 6 in the KY Senate). The majority power in the state House hangs in the balance! The voices – and votes – of psychologists, their colleagues, families, clients and students, can make a difference.
We have posted a complete listing by county of all KY General Assembly incumbents and challengers. If you are unsure which district you live in, go to www.lrc.ky.gov and enter your home address and zip code.

Get active in this election cycle: contribute to the KPA PAC, host a neighborhood gathering, put out a yard sign, walk the district, volunteer with your local political party…but above all – VOTE.
As political science professor Larry Sabato described it: “Every election is determined by the people who show up.” Be one of those people!
